How you will make contributions that matter
- Manage health and welfare benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, EAP, and wellness. Provide ongoing direction and support to external benefit administration vendors, internal HR staff and other outside vendors.
- Manage the annual enrollment process. Responsibilities may include analysis of cost data prior to renewal, working with vendors to implement change, communicating change to HR teams and employees.
- Ensure that benefit programs are administered in compliance with company policies and state and federal government regulations such as ERISA, ACA, HIPAA and COBRA.
- Benefit plan cost analysis - monitor and analyze utilization of all benefit plans to identify trends, opportunities for cost control / avoidance and education.
Provide recommendations for enhancements / changes to existing programs that are consistent with benefit objectives and strategies.
- Drive continual improvement of the delivery of services to employees, ensuring high levels of customer service and responsiveness.
- Development of employee communication materials to provide information and increase awareness and understanding of benefit programs (i.
e. annual and ongoing enrollment materials, employee benefit education, SPDs, etc.).
- Facilitate compliance awareness and training efforts, including conducting training as required (e.g. HIPAA training).
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, including analyzing regular management and audit reports and ensuring integrity of the HRIS and other systems.
- Perform other duties as requested.
You are best suited for the role if you have

- A bachelor's degree in business, human resources or the equivalent experience.
- A minimum 5 years of progressive benefits experience. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, planning and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects / work initiatives at one time, adapt to changes and consistently meet deadlines.
- A strong knowledge of benefit policies, practices and applicable laws required.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Office : Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel as required.

Saputo offers hybrid work environment with the possibility to work from home 2 days a week.
Salary Range : $85,370 to $112,050
Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
