Position Summary :
This role involves providing care for acute care visits rather than primary care caseloads, developing and administering treatment plans for walk-in patients, and participating in clinical care coordination and case management with the integrated care team.
Responsibilities include performing histories, and physicals, and ordering diagnostic tests and medications. The Nurse Practitioner ensures timely and accurate medical records documentation using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and contributes to the continuous improvement of clinic procedures and policies
Position Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for walk-in visits, as well as establish and administer individualized treatment plans for patients with acute conditions.
- Ensure timely and accurate medical records documentation for all patients in accordance with clinic policies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of procedures, policies, and materials affecting the walk-in clinic and its patients.
- Utilize the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system effectively to meet or exceed documentation requirements achieving clinical quality benchmarks required by grant funders and clinic initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish.

Compensation Details :
This is a non-exempt position with a target starting base compensation ranging between $75 per hour paid on a bi-weekly basis.
