Senior Java Developer
Locations : Kennesaw, GA and Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Candidate Preference : Local to Kennesaw, GA, or Charlotte, NC
Must-Have Skills :
Core Java : 5+ years of experience in Java development, preferably in the financial services industry
Spring Boot : Experience with the Spring Boot framework for building Java-based applications
Mulesoft : Experience with Mulesoft integration platform
Oracle PL / SQL : Proficiency in SQL and PL / SQL for interacting with Oracle databases
Microservices : Experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices architectures
Messaging : Experience with messaging systems and patterns
Responsibilities :
Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test software applications.
Participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies.
May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives.
Collaborate with external programmers to coordinate software application delivery.
Contribute to automation, causal analysis, and the development of shared / common solutions.
Work in a highly Agile, continuous integration, and continuous deployment environment.
Qualifications :
Experience : Typically requires 5-7 years of relevant IT experience (SDLC - Waterfall / Agile), preferably within a financial domain.
Technical Skills :
Strong experience in Java / J2EE, Web Services, SQL & PL / SQL (Oracle)
Strong knowledge of XML, JSON, and their usage within API and Microservice implementations
Familiarity with Eclipse IDE, WebLogic Application Server, or JBoss
Strong experience in Integration Technologies - Mule ESB & IDE or equivalent middleware experience
Knowledge of Test-Driven Development and Unit Testing (Cucumber / Litmus, JUnit)
Soft Skills :
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Analytical thinking, attention to detail, team leadership, problem-solving, innovative thinking, mentoring abilities
Desired Skills :
Bachelor's degree in a technical field
Mule certification
