COURIER - SUMMARY
Performs a variety of duties to enable the safe delivery and pick-up of various documents for Bank customers and other documents or items between branches.
COURIER - ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Pick up and deliver documents, checks and other items from / to customers in multiple regions.
- Pick up and delivery of multiple items between Mercantile branch locations.
- Comply with all laws, regulations, bank policies, and procedures.
- Complete all required training on time.
- Other job functions may be determined and required from time to time.
COURIER - QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.); or one to three months related experience and / or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. when necessary.
- Must have a reliable vehicle as this position requires use of your person vehicle. Mileage is reimbursed.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle in all weather conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to ensure individuals with disabilities can perform the essential functions.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Working hours are between 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday
