We are seeking a charismatic and innovative individual that has the ability to inspire and influence potential applicants to join the State Fund family.
So if you are someone that has current experience with recruitment or relevant experience in the hiring process, this could be YOU ! The Recruiter will work with staffing professionals and hiring managers on focused recruitment efforts, position postings and special workforce projects.
Along the way, you’ll :
- Identify potential candidates through web sourcing, networking, leveraging referrals, and identifying other creative ways to fill the various pipelines
- Bring fresh and innovative thinking to our company brand, recruitment strategies, and internal / external partnerships
- Represent State Fund at recruiting events and open houses throughout the State
- Create sourcing plans / tools to find amazing talent
- Counsel hiring managers and other team members on best hiring practices
Desirable Qualifications :
The following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate :
- Three (3) years of professional recruitment experience a huge plus!
- Stellar written and verbal communication skills
- Experience partnering with senior leadership and executive teams on hiring initiatives
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced changing work environment
- Outstanding analytical skills and ability to determine effective courses of action
- Understanding of hiring and tracking metrics
- Results driven and excellent organizational skills
- Superior customer service skills with ability to engage with multiple levels of management
- Experience in sourcing and engaging applicants through social media
- Demonstrative ability to employ progressive recruitment techniques
- Experience in developing and delivering training
- Proven track record for maintaining confidentiality of sensitive personnel related work
- Ability to travel, some overnight and early morning travel may be required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desired!
Telework may be available and is subject to change based on State Fund guidelines and business needs. Candidates must reside in California to be eligible for this appointment.

SALARY : $5,518 - $6,907 per month depending on experience
