Head of Data & Business Intelligence WCG

The Head of Data & Business Intelligence will be focused on leading a team and advancing distribution through data and analytics, the CRM, and digital tools to enable sales, service, marketing, product and leadership to better meet client needs.

This individual will focus on :

• Expanding and enhancing the current data platform and CRM capabilities built in support of the wealth and intermediary business
• Developing a deep understanding of the business and clients through analytics and research to redefine the 'metrics that matter' to help establish our distribution model of the future
• Building data-driven sales and marketing practices enabled by segmentation and prescriptive modeling to target and serve clients based on their needs and preferences
• Directing a high-performing team of data stewards, data analysts and Salesforce administrators to deliver business dashboards, reports, and in-depth data analysis, resulting in the implementation of metrics, KPIs, and scorecards across the organization

Key areas of responsibilities :

• Manage relationships and contracts with data intelligence providers and sales technology / services vendors
• Conduct due diligence and determine 3rd party data packages best aligned to the intermediary distribution strategy
• Ensure strong data hygiene methodology across all internal and external data sets to extract meaningful insights and trends
• Develop and maintain business reporting dashboards that provide intelligence on assets, flows, fee impact, revenue with desire of visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
• Identify key performance indicators and develop metrics to track and measure business performance
• Create ad-hoc reports and analyses to support strategic initiatives and operational decision making
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data analytics and reporting to recommend improvements to existing processes

Qualifications :

• Extensive 10+ years experience building and utilizing a platform of relational databases
• Proven experience in building a data and CRM platform including data analysis, reporting, visualization, preferable in asset management or financial services industry
• Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Azure, Python, Salesforce, PowerBI and Snowflake
• Strong knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar
• Management experience of leading a team of data stewards, analysts and architects preferred ·
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across the broader team
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistic, Mathematics, Economics or related field
• Advanced degree preferred
