Events Coordinator/Recruiting Coordinator-80565
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Events Planner / Recruiting Coordinator to support our Talent Acquisition Team, specifically partnering with the Diversity Acquisition Team.
This role will be pivotal in managing logistics for events, executing branding campaigns, and handling procurement responsibilities.
The position will involve a mix of onsite and virtual work, with an emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Location : Owings Mills, MD (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Pay Rate : $20-$23 per hour
Hours : 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Event Logistics Support : Manage logistics for various events, including four mandatory travel engagements (August and November), and conduct virtual events.
- Onsite Work : Provide onsite support for events, requiring a presence three days a week.
- Post-Event Follow-Up : Handle post-event activities and follow-up tasks.
- Branding Campaigns : Collaborate on branding elements for campaigns and manage procurement for event materials, including "swag" and third-party vendors.
- Traditional Recruiting Support : Assist with traditional recruiting coordinator duties during the off-season (January to March), when there may be downtime.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience : Proven background in meeting and event planning. Familiarity with Workday is preferred but not required.
- Skills : High energy with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and managing multiple responsibilities.
- DEI Focus : Experience supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Flexibility : Willing to travel for events and maintain a hybrid work schedule with three days onsite and two days remote.
Work Schedule
- Heavy Season : March to November with a focus on event planning and logistical support.
- Off-Season : January to March with traditional recruiting coordinator functions and backup support.
