The role is responsible for achieving Aristocrat’s objectives by supporting the Decision Support Center of Excellence and the commissions team, providing financial, analytical and decision support for multiple executives across the Gaming business.
Internally, the role must work collaboratively with finance segment leads, corporate finance, sales, pricing, shared services, and marketing.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with commercial team to provide strategic and tactical business support that guides and influences key decision makers in the achievement of business objectives
- Implement improvements to planning and reporting processes and enhance leveraging of systems and tools
- Provide objective and relevant analysis and modeling to support the development of various projects and reports
- Provision of commercial systems, processes, reports, and management information that enable analysis, recommendations, and review of actions for business opportunities, projects, and gap closure
- Modify and develop new reports to deliver enhanced information and insights
- Develop compelling dashboards and data visualizations using field-proven formats using complex coding languages such as SQL, DAX, VBA, Power Query, Power Pivot, Macros, etc
- Implement reporting best practices and automation into existing reports
- Collaborate with various high-level executives and business partners to identify reporting gaps and create solutions
- Identify and analyze efficiencies in the business to drive change and automation, increase revenue and build a strong stakeholder engagement
- Ability to embrace ambiguity and break down complex problems to provide clear and effective recommendations
- Utilize advanced presentation and visualization software to effectively communicate analysis / results to key stakeholders
- Partner with the broader Finance organization to build robust analytical models, tools and processes and provide superior service to business partners / internal clients
- Able to work effectively in a highly complex matrix environment, with a proven ability to influence without formal authority and achieve results through people
- Understands the link between excellence in data acquisition / warehousing / insights, and how to leverage this as a competitive advantage in the marketplace
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Advanced skillset and / or super user in programs such as : SQLPower BITableauPower QueryPower PivotPower AutomateMail MergeExcel (including macros)DAXVBA
- Ability to connect multiple systems together for analytics, including but not limited to, TM1, Sales Force, excel, etc
- 2+ years of experience in similar positions
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial planning tools (e.g. TM1, Hyperion)
- Business and industry acumen
