Pay : $17 - $19 / hour
Position Overview : The Host / Hostess plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression for our guests and ensuring seamless coordination between the dining room and kitchen staff.
Responsibilities :
Greeting Guests : Warmly welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant, exhibiting a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
Seating Arrangements : Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover and accommodate reservations, while maintaining a balanced flow of guests throughout the dining area.
Reservation Management : Confirm reservations, manage the waitlist during peak hours, and effectively communicate wait times to guests.
Menu Presentation : Provide guests with menus and assist them with any inquiries regarding menu items, specials, or dietary restrictions.
Coordinating with Servers : Collaborate closely with the serving staff to ensure efficient communication between the front and back of house teams.
Maintaining Cleanliness : Monitor the cleanliness of the host stand, lobby area, and restrooms, promptly addressing any issues to uphold our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Customer Service : Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a courteous and timely manner, striving to exceed their expectations and enhance their overall dining experience.
Assisting with Special Events : Support the coordination of special events, private parties, and large group reservations as needed.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
Physical Demands :
Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time. Lift and carry up to 10-30lbs.
