Advocate Aurora Medical Group is recruiting a full time experienced Advanced Practice Clinician to join the Gastroenterology team!
Position Requirements :
Evaluation of new and established GI patients
Patient education on treatment plan and preventative care
Inpatient and outpatient coverage
Covering Chicago clinic and hospitals in the South Region
Education / Certifications :
Masters of Nursing Degree as APRN / CNP
2 years RN experience preferred or 1 year APRN / CNP experience in the relevant setting preferred.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency with an Electronic Medical Record
National certification as a CNP from an accredited body
Current Illinois APRN License
Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
Current Illinois Controlled Substance or License within 6 months of hire
Eligible for DEA registration or Possession of a current DEA Registration within six months of hire
Current BLS Certification
Current PALS / ACLS certification may vary based on practice site.
