Description
The purpose of the Host / Hostess position is to greet customers with a winning smile as they enter our restaurant, answer any initial questions and show guests to their seat.
The Host / Hostess is the guest's first impression and all-important in giving our guests an outstanding experience. You may also handle phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant, it's menu, and assist various restaurant staff when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting.
- Ability to understand and work with computer-based wait systems while still personalizing the greeting and departing experience for our guests.
- Ability to multi-task; paying attention to several areas of the restaurant at once.
- Must be accommodating to each guest, no matter the request.
- Must be knowledgeable of all store information including phone number, address, and directions to the store as well as surrounding businesses.
- Have a good knowledge of the menu.
- Adhere to grooming and uniform standards.
- Maintain clean, sanitary and well-stocked restrooms.
- Seat guests in an efficient and correct order, according to server section rotation.
- Filling in for absent staff as needed.
- Assisting with special events as needed.
- Providing great customer service.

Paid Sick Leave-Colorado
Per the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act ("HFWA"), RMRG provides the following paid leave to all employees working in a Colorado-based location :
Accrued Paid Sick Leave
Up to 48 hours of paid leave per year, for the use of a variety of health and safety needs. Employees earn 1 hour of leave for every 30 hours worked.
Leave is paid at the same pay rate as time worked.
Requirements
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
- Have a positive attitude.
- Can work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Willingness to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification, if needed.
- Positive interpersonal skills required, strong character, understands the culture of RMRG.
- Restaurant experience is a plus.
