Healthcare IT / Networking Specialist
Location : Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)
Duration : 9-month contract
We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist to manage IT infrastructure and lead critical projects at the VA Medical Center.
Responsibilities :
Manage server deployment, maintenance, and performance optimization.
Design and maintain network infrastructure to ensure connectivity and stability.
Lead IT projects from initiation through completion, defining scope and objectives.
Provide technical support to resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Implement and enforce IT security policies and ensure compliance.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in server administration, networking required.
2+ years of IT project management experience required.
Proficiency in server OS (Windows Server, Linux), virtualization, and cloud platforms.
Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and firewall configuration.
Experience with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.
Experience in healthcare environment preferred.
