Job details We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.

As a key member of our organization, the Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in managing our financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial transactions.

Responsibilities : ... The Staff Accountant will be responsible for a wide range of accounting duties, including but not limited to :

Completing credit application processes for clients and partners.

Collecting necessary tax information such as W-9 forms and accurately entering data into QuickBooks.

Processing incoming invoices from vendors and scheduling timely payments.

Engaging with vendors to request invoices, confirm rates, negotiate adjustments, and verify monthly statements.

Designing and implementing expense claims, per diem, and allowance forms for employee compensation.

Recording financial transactions into our internal databases with precision.

Generating comprehensive accounting reports for internal analysis and decision-making.

Reconciling corporate credit card receipts submitted by employees and ensuring accurate expense reporting.

Executing wire and ACH transactions, as well as facilitating bank transfers.

Performing monthly bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

Preparing bank deposits to ensure adequate cash flow management.

Reviewing and documenting payroll transactions to support the HR department.

Issuing accurate invoices to customers and following up on receivables.

Filing and remitting union dues in compliance with labor agreements.

Processing certified payrolls in accordance with government contracts.

Applying for and maintaining up-to-date business licenses.

Filing tax returns and managing tax-related responsibilities in a timely manner.

Requirements :

The ideal candidate for the Staff Accountant position will possess :

A minimum of 5 years of work experience in the accounting field.

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Strong organizational skills with an exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Proficiency in mathematics, with a keen eye for spotting numerical errors.

Excellent time management skills, with a proven track record of prioritizing work effectively.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks.

A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion in financial matters.
