Join our client’s team in Los Angeles as a Mergers and Acquisitions Partner and become an integral part of a firm renowned for its expertise in handling complex corporate transactions.

As a key player in their M&A practice, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile transactions, collaborate with top-tier legal professionals, and provide innovative solutions to their clients' most pressing challenges.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage all aspects of mergers and acquisitions transactions, from initial due diligence through closing, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness throughout the process.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on transaction structuring, negotiation tactics, and regulatory compliance, drawing upon your expertise in corporate law and M&A best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams within the firm, including tax, antitrust, intellectual property, and employment law experts, to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to each client's needs.
  • Advise boards of directors and executive officers on corporate governance matters, including transactional risk assessment, disclosure obligations, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications :

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Experience practicing corporate law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions at a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and closing complex M&A transactions, including negotiated deals, hostile takeovers, and other contested matters.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance principles, securities regulations, and industry-specific legal requirements.
