Job Title : Security Operator
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitors Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) system for alerts, alarms, and other events.
- Responds to alarm events and security situations based on Standard Operating Procedures or policies.
- Coordinates Law Enforcement response to security incidents.
- Makes notifications to various internal and external people or groups.
- Operates CCTV cameras to ascertain the cause of events and coordinate response to those.
- Performs access management tasks in the assigned systems to create badges, assign access, and remove access based on policies.
- Central Point of Contact for the Corporate Security team. Answers phone calls, text messages, and emails regarding security and access management.
- Fills out appropriate logs, reports, and other documents to properly report on the activities of the SCC.
- Identifies and reports any broken, damaged, or non-operational security equipment for repair.
- Visitor Check-in at designated locations.
- Works with internal and external customers to assist with questions, concerns, and other reports.
- Attends training, staff meetings, and other assigned meetings as required.
- Completes required self-guided training to maintain company and professional knowledge.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Experience with Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) systems
- Ability to respond to security situations promptly
- Experience with CCTV operations
- Access management experience
- Strong communication skills for internal and external coordination
- Attention to detail for logs, reports, and equipment checks
Nice To Have
- Previous experience in a Corporate Security environment
- Familiarity with law enforcement coordination
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Redmond, Washington.
Work Environment
Work Schedule is Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 6 : 00AM - 2 : 15PM and Tuesday 2 : 00PM-10 : 15AM (Wed & Thu off). 100% onsite, no chance to work remotely.
Free parking. Team-oriented environment. Snacks are accessible to the team.
TRAINING SCHEDULE :
There will be two weeks of training. The first week of training will be classroom style and will be 4x10's. Start time will be between 6AM-8AM depending on the Trainer's availability and go 10 hours per day for 4 days.
The second week of training will be On-The-Job training and will be scheduled based on the shift they will be working.
Classroom training at : SE Center St, Snoqualmie, WA
DRESS CODE :
- Operators will dress in business casual attire.
- Clothing will be clean, in good condition, and free of cuts, rips, and holes.
- Clothing will be free of logos, except for small logos of the clothing maker.
- Clothing will be free of graphics.
- T-shirts are not permitted as an outer layer.
- Jeans are not permitted.
- Footwear must be close-toed, suitable for office wear, and worn at all times.
