SUMMARY : As a Client Integration Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting file transfer and API solutions for our clients.

You will work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements, recommend best practices, and ensure seamless integration with their existing systems.

This role requires a deep understanding of file transfer protocols, API development, and strong problem-solving skills

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.

• Collaborate together with business lines and TSCs with to gather technical requirements for file transfer and API integration projects.
• Design, implement, and support secure file transfer solutions using various protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and others.
• Assist with locating & developing automation opportunities.
• Develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate data exchange between client systems and external applications.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices for data transfer and API communication.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to file transfer and API integration.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients, ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, process flows, and user guides.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as development, QA, and support, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions to clients.
• Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.

e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).

• Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
• Identifies and reports suspicious activity.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of experience in file transfer protocols, such as SFTP, FTPS, or HTTPS, and API development.
• Experience with security protocols and data encryption methodologies.
• Experience with cloud-based file transfer solutions, such as AWS S3 or Azure Blob Storage.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for API development (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of delivering successful technical projects to clients.
• Familiarity with integration platforms, such as MuleSoft or Dell Boomi.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, such as HIPAA, GDPR, or PCI-DSS.
