Our client manufacturers highly engineered niche products for the aerospace, military, and medical markets from our modern facility in Southwestern Connecticut.

This position develops, implements, and manages quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production consistent with established standards, customer specifications and production.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage our Engineering's Quality Department.

Maintain our Engineering's Quality System.

Ensure that all products meet our Engineering's Quality Standards.

Maintain sub-contractors Quality Ratings.

Member of the ISO Management Team.

FAA Repair Station Repairman.

Support ISO and AS9100 audits.

Support customer audits.

Conduct one-to-one reviews and performance Reviews.

Job Requirements and Qualifications :

Education :

Bachelor's Degree or 5 years relevant experience.

Experience :

5 years minimum experience as a QC inspector or part of a quality department with Supervisory / Management experience.

Personal Specification / Essential Qualities :

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Effective communication skills with ability to work in a strong team environment.
  • General understanding of Quality Management System requirements inclusive of ISO 9001 : 2008 and / or AS9100 Standards.
  • Great people skills. Will be interacting with all levels of the organization on an everyday basis.
