Freese and Nichols is seeking a Program Management Practice Leader in one of the following offices : Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Oklahoma City, Atlanta, Tampa, Raleigh or Charlotte .

As a Practice Leader, you will develop and lead our Program Management Practice, working with teams across all geographies from Colorado to Virginia and clients including municipal, county, water district / river authority, transportation agency, airport, port, and rail / transit agency, to enhance our national expertise and drive business growth.

Responsibilities include :

  • Develop national expertise by collaborating with operational groups and technical experts.
  • Establish a vision for practice growth and strategize its implementation.
  • Collaborate with Division Managers and Group Managers to win work in established and new markets.
  • Work with Program Management Group Managers on workload sharing, team development, and potential opportunities for individual career growth for staff
  • Facilitate team development and career growth within the practice.
  • Build cooperation and respect with operational groups and Account Directors.
  • Develop client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct and participate in market research and client feedback gathering.
  • Develop and execute annual Practice sales goals and sales plans.
  • Coordinate marketing events and sales activities.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to Client Representatives.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of project management experience in public sector capital improvement projects
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management
  • Knowledge of alternative delivery contracts and contract administration

Preferred :

  • Professional Engineer or Registered Architect certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
