Position Title : Custodian / Facilities Crew Member
Reports to : Facilities Manager
Status : Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Hours : 40 hours per week
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary / Objective
The Marymount High School Custodian / Facilities Crew Member maintains a clean working environment, both inside and outside of campus facilities, for all faculty, staff, students and visitors, ensuring that all areas are safe and in pristine condition.
- Essential Functions
- Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms
- Cleans, mops, washes, buffs and vacuums floors
- Cleans, vacuums rugs and carpeted areas
- Operate a carpet cleaning machine
- Empties trash
- Maintains outside walk areas, including sweeping debris and washing walkways
- Cleans and polishes fixtures
- Removes recycling materials
- Deploys bathroom supplies as needed
- Tracks and orders maintenance supplies
- Cleans and washes windows
- Cleans, dusts and vacuums furniture
- Participates in event setup and take down
- Participates in table and chair setups for events
- Collects lunch boxes and items left behind by students and puts them in Lost and Found area
- Sets up and breaks down events

Physical Demands
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day.
The employee must frequently lift and move items over 40 pounds.

Requirements
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED diploma.
- Minimum of 2-3 years working in a custodial / maintenance position.
- School experience preferred.
- Work Authorization / Security Clearance
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range.
