Part Time Dietary Aide (WAGE)

Job Duties

Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center is seeking a Nutrition Service Aide. This is a part time / wage position with no benefits.

Working hours for this position will be 6 : 30 AM- 3 : 00PM, 11 : 45 AM - 8 : 15 PM and every other weekend. Hours may not exceed 1500 in a year between May 1st April 30th.

Applicants must be available to work on weekends for the AM position from 6 : 30 to 3 : 00, and for the hours needed by the Culinary Department.

Assist in the dining room to support the residents as necessary.

Prepares food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications.

Deliver meal carts / trays to residents, wash pot and pans, assist in the preparation and the assembly of food trays and waste removal.

Minimum Qualifications

Prior experience in food services / nutrition services.

Additional Considerations

Experience working in a long-term care facility or hospital.
