Title : Sales Manager, Landscape Services and Design / Build
Location : Canton, OH
Compensation :
Base salary ranging from $100-115k plus a tiered commission program based on total team revenue, Take Home Vehicle, PTO to include Vacation and Holidays, 401k Match, IPad, Cell and Health Insurance.
Job Description :
Our client is a reputable Residential and Commercial Landscape company with extensive experience in the Canton Ohio market.
They provide full service maintenance services to include mowing, irrigation, and gardening services along with design / build services.
They are looking for a Sales Manager who can manage 2-3 Account Managers who manage a book of landscape maintenance accounts that consists of high end residential clients along with commercial properties such as corporate HQ’s, Office, some HOA’s and a mixture of clients that value service and high quality.
The company boasts a client retention rate in the 90’s and they want to make improvements with their sales and client renewal processes and grow the maintenance division from $4mm to $6mm in revenue while growing their Design / Build Services which did $6mm in 2023.
This position will be responsible for growing revenue by finding and retaining Maintenance Contracts, Enhancement Sales and selling Design / Build services.
They will develop a strategy to target the defined client profile, manage the client renewal process, manage the client price increase process, develop and train account managers on further improvement, use the existing systems to identify data that can be used to improve overall sales and synergies to win opportunities and will work with the Design / Build team to sell services through quality and comprehensive estimates and presentations.
This company has been in the local market for years, they retain their employees, have a very solid work atmosphere, utilize H2B Visas and operate on Aspire software.
Job Duties :
- Develop and sustain long-term relationships with customers.
- Manage a team of Account Managers to ensure quality and service expectations are met.
- Manage via KPI’s that are established
- Lead and facilitate or assist in the resolution of customer problems or concerns.
- Ensure the renewals of each current account within the customer portfolio.
- Train Account Managers how to identify and pursue opportunities to sell ancillary services.
- Evaluate and approve estimates to make sure the achieve the accepted Gross Margins
- Ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
- Train how to develop accurate estimates and takeoffs for both new and existing clients as needed.
- Run various KPI reports within the system to identify any trends that should be addressed
- Hold weekly meetings with Account Managers to discuss successes, challenges and goals.
