Job Title : Sales Tax Consultant Retail
Job Location : Bolingbrook, IL (Can be remote but Hybrid preferred)
Contract Duration : 5 months
Role & Responsibilities :
- Must be a self-starter and be able to execute against goals. Must be able to complete most work duties with little training
- Must be able to communicate schedule. Flexibility in daily tasks and assignments assigned
- Working knowledge of Excel (advanced), Word & PowerPoint. Formulas include VLOOKUP, pivot tables, sumif, countif
- Working knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx. Retail industry Experience
Profe ssional work experience required :
- 4+ years’ experience of Sales and use tax compliance e-filing, data preparation, return preparation and reconciliation, request approvals and payments.
- Use tax review for self-assessment. Account reconciliation. Tax research. Licensing.
- Bachelor's degree with Accounting or Finance or other business major.
- Independently work with other team members in the organization.
