This role focuses on franchise and distribution law, providing comprehensive legal counsel in both domestic and international transactions.

Job Overview :
The Junior to Mid-level Global Franchise and Supply Network Associate Attorney will work on a variety of matters related to franchise and distribution law, including structuring and developing franchise programs, drafting legal documents, advising clients on compliance and regulatory matters, and resolving franchise-related disputes.
The role requires a deep understanding of both U.S. and international franchise laws, making it a great opportunity for someone who is interested in global transactions and complex supply chain matters.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and structure franchise and distribution programs for clients in various industries.
- Draft, review, and negotiate franchise disclosure documents, franchise agreements, and other related contracts.
- Advise clients on franchise contract issues, including compliance with franchise regulations and relationship management.
- Perform state franchise registrations and ensure ongoing compliance with state-specific requirements.
- Counsel clients on the legal aspects of international development and cross-border transactions, including negotiating and structuring supply chain agreements.
- Assist clients in franchise dispute resolution, including mediations, arbitrations, and litigation support.
- Review and negotiate supply contracts and other transactions related to global distribution networks.
- Research and analyze evolving franchise and distribution laws both domestically and internationally.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to provide strategic legal advice on expanding global franchise systems.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulatory changes affecting franchise operations.
- Support clients in navigating international trade laws and franchise regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Florida State Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
- 2-4 years of experience in franchise and distribution law or related practice areas.
- Experience working in a law firm environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of both domestic and international franchise law.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and drafting skills.
- Strong interpersonal and client communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Education and Certifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
- Admission to the Florida State Bar required.
Skills :
- Expertise in franchise and distribution law, including state and federal regulations.
- Proficient in drafting complex legal agreements and contracts.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle high-stakes transactions.
