Overview : Soliant Health is excited to announce an opening for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in the vibrant city of San Diego, CA, for the upcoming 24 / 25 school year.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population, enhancing their communication skills and overall academic success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with various communication disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
- Utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and strategies effectively.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights on student goals and progress.
Qualifications :
- Licensing : Must hold an active or pending SLP license in the state of California.
- Experience : Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Skills : Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
