We are looking for a Technical Automation Lead to streamline our application packaging process. Currently, there are 45-50 manual steps involved, and we aim to build an automation team to enhance efficiency.
The role involves overseeing and managing 3rd party vendor teams and driving the automation strategy. We are currently using Zerto to automate our processes.
The ultimate goal after automation is to enable seamless flipping back and forth between production and disaster recovery environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automation strategies to reduce manual steps in the application packaging process
- Lead and mentor the automation team to achieve project goals
- Ensure seamless collaboration with 3rd party vendor teams
- Monitor and report on project progress and performance
- Establish processes to enable smooth transitions between production and disaster recovery environments
Requirements
- Extensive experience in both automation and infrastructure management
- Proven track record of building and leading automation teams
- Proficiency with Zerto and its application in automation, nice to have
- Ability to manage and coordinate with 3rd party vendors effectively
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Ability to drive to onsite meetings and brainstorming sessions as needed
