Billing Director

Position : Billing Director

Location : Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid, 5 days in office to start and then 1 day in office after training)

Pay : $175,000 to $195,000 annually, exempt

Experience : 8+ years of major international law firm billing management experience to direct 30+ billers in a large department.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any business related field is preferred.

Type : Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule : Day Shift, 9 : 00am to 5 : 00pm

Job Description :

• Assess / analyze firm practices and procedures to identify areas of improvement and implement best practices.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of regular and electronic client invoices.
• Work closely with Intake, Collections, and Accounts Receivable Managers to address any issues identified in the analysis of the billing and electronic billing departments and implementing effective workflow activities, workforce performance evaluation, and overseeing ticketing systems.

Position Requirements :

• Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, with strong emphasis in Excel) and law firm accounting software (3E, Elite Enterprise, or Aderant, required).
• Must have exceptional leadership and communication skills with strong creative problem-solving and analytical / organizational abilities are required.
• Must be able to set and meet deadlines and provide superior customer service to the firm.
• An excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with individuals at all levels in the organization to build positive relationships with business is a plus.
