Responsibilities
149; Participates in engineering related studies, processes, designs, inspections, and quality tests.
o Provides support with testing and troubleshooting in a variety of engineering tasks.
o Participates in assembling prototypes and ensures proper interaction of components.
o Supports the gathering, recording, and maintaining engineering specific information.
o Identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to report and solve.
o Supports the preparation of technical reports and analysis of technical issues. Ability to understand standards, specifications, and other documents to implement assigned tasks.
o Works independently and collaboratively with colleagues to resolve complex issues.
o Implement quality and process improvements.
Required Knowledge / Skills, Education, and Experience
149; Education : Associate of Science degree in Electrical / Electronics Technology or equivalent.
149; 3 to 5 years of experience in related electronic hardware design / test environment.
149; Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics and datasheets.
149; Able to proficiently operate electronic measurement and analysis lab equipment (for example, oscilloscope, meters, analyzers, power supplies).
149; Able to wire and set up test equipment.
149; Perform testing in a development lab environment and perform hardware fault insertion testing.
149; Electronic component-level soldering experience.
149; Knowledge and ability to program automation control equipment (PLC).
149; Demonstrates good interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
149; Attention to detail, accuracy in reporting, and focused on work tasks.
149; Excellent technical writing skills.
149; Problem solving / debugging skills.
Preferred Knowledge / Skills, Education, and Experience
149; Familiarity with design of Programmable Logic Controllers Input / Output devices and Central Processing Units.
149; Use and proficiency with Siemens Automation engineering systems (TIA Portal) is a plus- including fundamental LAD and SCL language programming.
149; Familiar with safety related standards or processes.
