The Organ Transplant Unit at University Hospital is a 33-bed unit that cares for a variety of organ transplant recipients.

The nurses on this unit care for patients that have received kidney, liver, pancreas, intestine, or multi-visceral abdominal transplants.

Ideal candidates would exhibit strong initiative, compassion, and integrity. This is a high-functioning unit that allows for collaboration between various disciplines.

Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.* Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.

• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.* Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit / department specialty according to patient care policies.
