Job Requirements
The Mental Health Service Line Manager must have certification by an appropriate specialty board or affirmatively established comparable competence through the credentialing process.
The Mental Health Service Line Manager, in collaboration with the Medical Staff, is responsible and accountable for :
- All professional and administrative activities within the Mental Health Service Line including selection, orientation, and continuing education of staff.
- Assuring that all licensed independent practitioners receive education on assessing and managing pain.
- Continuing surveillance of the professional performance of all individuals in the Mental Health Service Line who have delineated clinical privileges.
