Job Description
As the Admissions Director, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by overseeing the development of census and quality mix.
Your responsibilities will involve providing prospective patients and their families with essential information and support throughout their admission journey to our nursing center.
ROLE HIGHLIGHTS
Guide prospective patients and their families through the admission process, clarifying our admission policies and ensuring a seamless transition into our facility.
Your attention to detail will ensure all required paperwork is efficiently completed upon admission, with special emphasis on addressing financial arrangements and responsibilities.
- Guarantee the accuracy and completeness of financial verification before patients are admitted, contributing significantly to the reduction of accounts receivable and financial complexities.
- Handle inquiries from potential patients through both walk-in visits and telephone calls. By conducting tours of our nursing center, utilizing our electronic inquiry system for admissions, and providing comprehensive brochures on nursing home services, Medicare details, and room rates, you'll actively engage referral sources and potential patients' families.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A preferred qualification is a college degree.
- Your experience in sales, particularly within health care services, products, or pharmaceuticals, is a valuable asset.
- Familiarity with long-term care and health care services will be advantageous in this role.
