Position Overview : Under the guidance of a licensed engineer, this position gains experience in the engineering field. Intern assignments may include survey, field observation and / or office work depending on experience or areas of interest.
Main Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist in the preparation of project plans, specifications and miscellaneous quantities
- Assists with preparation of environmental reports and agency coordination
- Perform / assist with survey
- Assists in monitoring contractor schedule and activities
- Assists in the preparation of construction documents for legal records
Requirements :
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineer, Construction Engineering, or Environmental Engineering
- Strong Written and verbal communication skills required
- Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with insurance provider
