The Baptist Health System New Grad RN Residency program will provide orientation to your hospital and selected area of practice.
You will achieve competency in many areas of nursing practice including acute-care regulatory requirements, interpersonal and critical thinking skills and the technical proficiency required for your chosen clinical area.
About the ProgramThe program is structured to support new nurse cohort bonding with your peers. You will participate in online as well as classroom learning, meet and interact with your team members, fellow nurses, administration, nursing and physician leaders.
Your program includes an assigned nurse preceptor who will work with you beginning at orientation and throughout your program.
You will be supported with ongoing training and will have opportunities for networking and social activities during the year.

POSITION SUMMARYUnder minimal supervision, provides nursing care for a group of patients assigned to the nurse based on matching the patients' needs with the nurse' competencies.
Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
