About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Specialty : Burn Unit, Intensive Care / Coronary Care Nurse Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 36 hours / week, Evening / Night shifts, 8 / 12 hour shifts, 3 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM, some weekends, every other weekend rotation Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years;
ICU experience required, experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma center or similar size hospital License : Nursing license from applicable state or compact nursing license from permanent address state Certifications : BLS, ACLS certified through the American Heart Association Must-Have : - Basic Arrhythmia experience - Two completed references from a recent work environment (supervisor / manager) Job Description : Join a dynamic critical care collaborative team that offers : - Care for diverse Medical / Surgical critical care patients and Burn patients - Participation in a multidisciplinary team for developing and evaluating care plans - Involvement in a newly built Critical Care Unit - Work in a recognized Burn Center as well as a Level One Trauma Center Additional Responsibilities : - Nurses may be required to float to multiple units based on staffing needs - Completion of a successful traveler assignment of 13 weeks - Required to pass a telemetry test prior to start Note : Ensure all documents include a permanent address outside a specified radius to qualify.
