We are currently seeking a Senior Director of Technology - Public Sector to join our team in Metro DC, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Senior Director of Technology - Public Sector

Overview :

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced and talented Senior Director of Technology to join our Public Sector team. The Senior Director will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer for Public Sector and will be responsible for supporting both Federal and State, Local, and Education clients.

In this critical role, the Senior Director will work closely with senior members of NTT DATA's clients to advise on technology trends and help craft IT solutions to address their business challenges.

Furthermore, this individual will be instrumental in training and enabling NTT DATA's Sales Executives and Client Executives on our comprehensive offering portfolio.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with senior client stakeholders to provide strategic technology advice and consultation
  • Develop innovative IT solutions tailored to clients' unique business challenges
  • Support Sales Executives and Client Executives by providing training and enablement on NTT DATA's offering portfolio
  • Comfortably present to senior executives in 1 : 1 meetings and engage with large audiences on technical capabilities and trends at industry events.
  • Author thought leadership articles for trade publications, showcasing NTT DATA's expertise and industry insights
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to inform and refine NTT DATA's strategy

Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of experience in the technology industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • 5+ years of recent experience working with Public Sector clients, including Federal Health & Civilian Agencies and State, Local, and Education agencies
  • 5+ years of experience with legacy modernization solutions in Federal Health & Civilian Agencies and / or SLED
  • 5+ years of Consulting experience
  • Strong knowledge of technology trends, emerging technologies, and their applications in the Public Sector
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to write thought leadership articles for trade publications
  • Experience in training, mentoring, or coaching Sales and Client Executives on technology offerings and solutions
  • Experience presenting to senior executives and large audiences
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Must live close to a major airport and have the ability to travel up to 50%
  • Prefer someone based in the Chicagoor DC area
