CEOs of Tomorrow, a non-profit youth empowering organization, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to build on our strong foundation.

The Executive Director will collaborate with our dedicated Board of Directors, skilled staff, and valued community partners to continue expanding our influence and empowering the next generation of change-makers.

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources.
  • Manage and develop the organization's nine staff in fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and funding requirements.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial health and sustainability.

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop, articulate, and implement a clear vision and strategic plan and identify new opportunities in alignment with the organization’s mission and goals resulting in growth.
  • Foster innovation and oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of program development and delivery. Work closely with the Board of Directors to set policies, strategic direction, and governance.

Equity-Driven Leadership

  • Serve as a leader in working with at-promise and underrepresented youth and families.
  • Monitor and address social and economic factors that impact access to the organization’s entrepreneurial programs and resources and develop strategies to remove barriers to opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster a culture of inclusion and equity within the organization and its programs.
  • Use data to proactively monitor and address social and economic factors that impact access to the organization’s entrepreneurship programs and resources, working to remove barriers to participation.

Fundraising and Resource Development

  • Oversee financial management, including budgeting and financial reporting, to ensure effective use of a $600,000 to $1 million budget.
  • Lead fundraising efforts, including donor cultivation, grant writing, and corporate partnerships. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key funders, prospective donors and stakeholders.
  • Explore new revenue streams and funding opportunities to support the organization's growth.

Community and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, schools, and local organizations.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization, promoting its mission and programs.
  • Engage with the broader community and in public forums to enhance the organization's visibility and impact and to advocate for its mission and values.

Program Oversight

  • Ensure the successful implementation and evaluation of all programs and services.
  • Work with program staff to develop and refine curricula and program offerings.
  • Monitor and report on the program outcomes and impact, using data to drive continuous improvement.

Academic Standards and Entrepreneurship Curriculum

  • Collaborate with staff, educators and industry experts to continuously enhance engagement strategies, innovative delivery approaches, and a high-quality curriculum excellence in entrepreneurial education.
  • Oversee and maintain an entrepreneurship curriculum that aligns with academic standards and best practices in education.
  • Ensure the curriculum is inclusive, engaging, and tailored to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum through feedback, assessments, and program outcomes.
  • Integrate experiential learning opportunities, such as internships, international travel, and other real-world opportunities, to enhance the entrepreneurial and educational experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the education or non-profit sector, with a focus on working with diverse communities.
  • Strong understanding of entrepreneurship education, youth development, and the challenges faced by underrepresented populations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and advocate for the organization and those it serves.
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising, including major gifts, grants, and corporate partnerships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups, including youth, educators, and community leaders.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial management and QuickBooks.
  • High proficiency with Google Workspace.
  • A strong aptitude for technology, with the ability to learn and effectively use tools to enhance program delivery, data management, and organizational efficiency.
  • Empathetic and approachable, with a genuine understanding and respect for diverse perspectives and experiences. Deep commitment to equity and social justice.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, including planning, delegating, program development, and task facilitation.
  • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred in education, business administration, nonprofit management, public administration, or a related field or experience.

Pay : $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
