JOB SUMMARY
Performs quality polysomnography testing within the Pediatric Sleep Medicine department and offers clinical sleep education to pediatric patients and their parents.
Responsibilities
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform nighttime PSG, PAP titrations (including AUTOSV and AVAP).
- Assist with patient care and other duties within the sleep center.
- Answer phones, schedule new and follow up patients in Centricity
- Obtain lab and all ancillary test results, prior to patient visits
- Mask fits for CPAP patients
- Train patients on use of Actigraphy watches
- Download Actigraphy watches
- Download CPAP compliance reports
- Schedule sleep studies as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) certification.
- Clinical Sleep Educator (CSE) certification.
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR).
- Minimum 2 years' experience polysomnographic technologist (preferred).
- Experience in Pediatric sleep clinics (preferred).

- Knowledge of Sleep Medicine and Polysomnographic procedures.
- Ability to assist patients in and out of bed if needed.
