Based in NYC, we are a team of ambitious, experienced, and devoted engineers, designers, and marketers. You'll be joining an early team where you'll have an outsized impact on both the product and company's culture.

Please note that all of our roles will require you to be in-person at our NYC HQ (located in Union Square)
Responsibilities :
- Deliver stunning, high-performance user experiences that shape the future of video software.
- Collaborate with Product Designers and the broader team to conceptualize and ship incredible experiences directly to Captions' users.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and best practices, and apply them to improve the development process and drive innovation.
- Manage the overall product process with the broader team, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and maintenance, and contribute to the development of project plans and schedules.
Requirements :
- Multi-disciplinary engineer with strong product sense and technical expertise, equally driven by customer focus and engineering excellence.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on designing and developing user interfaces for highly scalable web applications.
- Demonstrated fluency with a mainstream frontend and server-side framework (React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, ExpressJS, etc).
- Bonus : Experience or the ability / appetite to learn WebGL, WASM, Electron.
