CNO’s Worksite unit, Optavise, is hiring a Sales Manager, Benefits Communications, to generate revenue for their assigned geographic region.
The Sales Manager, Benefits Communications, is comfortable in all facets of the benefits industry, benefits administration technology, health care and large group sales.
The individual is responsible for developing the growth of the Optavise suite of services with a focus on Benefits Communications.
The Sales Manager, Benefits Communications will report to the Senior Director, Worksite Sales and be responsible for effectively and regularly communicating ongoing bookings, pipeline development, team & resource dynamics, market developments, best practices, and any challenges.
They will ensure that sales and Salesforce best practices and requirements are continually adhered to.

As a Sales Manager, Communications your responsibilities include :
Establish and leverage relationships with small to large businesses to position our Benefits Communications solution.
Partner with other Optavise Sales Managers, as an SME on our Benefits Communications solution
Manage all aspects of the Sales process including prospect generation & qualification, coordinate and lead meetings, presentation, proposal generation, negotiation & contracting.
Maintain account & opportunity status in Salesforce and ensure accurate opportunity forecasting.
Keep current weekly pipeline activity and results.
Work professionally and collaboratively with all Optavise team members; including Account Management, Implementation, Operations, Marketing, and Management.
The Sales Manager is well suited for you if you have :
Proven track record of selling health care related benefits communication.
Strong broker / consulting relationships within your geographic area.
Proven ability of selling to / through brokers and business to business.
Ability to follow and direct a prospect through a sales process.
Consultative selling approach.
Ability to understand objectives of and sell to various personalities, roles, and committee members involved in a sale; C-suite, VP, Director, Manager, Strategy, Operations, and Broker.
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize the actions required to accomplish day to day goals and objectives.
Excellent conceptual, writing, oral and presentation skills with the ability to construct stories and content.
50-75% travel within your geographic territory.
Qualified candidates will have :
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or 8 years of equivalent work experience.
Experience in a benefits communication / governance, healthcare, health insurance, benefits administration technology, or benefits field.
5+ years in employee benefit / voluntary benefits sales experience or communications sales experience with proven results.

CNO embraces flexibility and encourages you to work where you’re most productive. Associates who live within a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Chicago, and Milwaukee) have access to come into that office.
Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Orlando and Milwaukee) may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US based location, as long as you are willing to work central or eastern time zone hours.
All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.

Compensation
Pay Range : $112,900.00 - $169,300.00 Annual
