Quality Control Technician / Floor Inspector 2 nd shift

We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician / Floor Inspector to join our dynamic team and help us deliver flawless parts to our customers.

Job Duties :

  • Conduct visual inspections on processed, machined, and assembled parts to identify defects and imperfections.
  • Ensure all necessary inspection devices, prints, routings, and checklists are readily available at work centers.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments and advanced testing equipment to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with drawings, blueprints, and part specifications to maintain quality standards.
  • Set up jobs and green tag them for production, ensuring seamless workflow.
  • Perform random sampling inspections to maintain quality control.
  • Thoroughly document inspection results and complete inspection reports.
  • Check incoming materials and maintain organized files.
  • Conduct gauge calibration to uphold accuracy standards.

Schedule : Initial training on 1st shift (3-12 months) : Monday to Friday from 5 : 00am 3 : 00pm, with Saturdays from 5 : 00am 10 : 00am Transition to 2nd shift : Monday to Friday from 3 : 00pm to 1 : 00am, with a mid-shift on Saturdays from 10 : 00am 3 : 00pm.

Pay Rate : $15.00 - $20.00 Competitive base pay based on experience - please include salary requirements with your resume.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 1 year of previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing setting, with preference for Machine Shop experience.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, work instructions, and part specifications.
  • Experience working with a variety of inspection tools, including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and more.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ITAR, and F.O.D requirements is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Mandatory 55-hour work weeks, with overtime compensation (time and a half for 41-48 hours, double time for 49+ hours).
