Department Overview
PG&E’s Enterprise Service Delivery (ESD) department is responsible for the Company’s long and medium-term planning, asset management and design, strategy development, and service planning and design.
Enterprise Service Delivery plays an integral role in helping PG&E deliver for our hometowns, serve our planet, and lead with love, with a goal of developing a safe, reliable, resilient, de-carbonized and affordable energy system for all customers.
Position Summary
This role will manage aspects of ESD communications, change management and will ensure programs and initiatives are operating effectively.
This role offers the opportunity to explore areas within Aviation, Transportation, Corporate Real Estate, Land Environment and Permitting, Major Projects, and Supply Chain.
Responsibilities typically include some or most of the following in support of the Chief of Staff Office to ensure attainment of program metrics / objectives.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting.
This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
A reasonable salary range is :
Bay Area Minimum : $140,000.00
Bay Area Maximum : $238,000.00
California Minimum : $133,000.00
California Maximum : $226,000.00
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.
Job Responsibilities
- Manages communications and change management within Chief of Staff Office
- Manages major internal and cross-functional projects and initiatives
- Develop and implement process improvements.
- Solves unique and complex problems, anticipating issues and developing innovative solutions
- Coaches and facilitates development of effective project plans
- Demonstrates strategic leadership with internal stakeholders to support Company goals.
- Collaborates within and across organization to ensure alignment of goals to support program.
- Responsible for leveraging other departments and teams to meet program goals.
Qualifications
Minimum :
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Job-related experience, 10 years
Desired :
- Master’s Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience with PG&Es Lean Playbook and Project Plans
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to use understanding of the business to help drive strategic decision making, and to recommend operational improvements.
- Ability to lead the largest most complex projects across the line of business supported (i.e. Customer Care, Human Resources, etc.).
