Temp Data Analyst: 47784

STS Technical Services is seeking a highly skilled Temp Data Analyst to join our team in Miami, Florida . In this role, you will maintain and analyze Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) data in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company standards.

Your primary responsibilities will include entering and analyzing pilot training data to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, and managing electronic AQP training and evaluation forms.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Entry & Analysis : Accurately enter pilot training data into designated systems and the AQP database for monthly FAA reports.

Analyze this data to evaluate training program effectiveness and ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and the airline Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Data Auditing & Reporting : Audit monthly data submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance with FAA requirements. Generate reports to identify trends affecting training programs, instructor standardization, and other key areas.

Compile and organize data for quarterly and annual reports for Flight Operations, FAA, and other stakeholders.

Statistical Reporting : Write statistical reports to communicate program objectives, procedures, and progress to management.

Lead the collection, auditing, analysis, and reporting of pilot proficiency performance data.

• Data Visualization : Assist in translating business needs into tools, metrics, and dashboards for data visualization. Provide advanced reporting solutions for multiple business areas using Power BI, Tableau, and other tools.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Coordinate AQP data findings with stakeholders in the Flight Operations Training & Standards organization.

Foster positive working relationships between Training Records, AQP, Training and Standards, and supporting departments.

• Technical Support & Training : Provide training and support to Instructors and Evaluators for grading calibration. Deliver data-driven insights and support ad hoc projects, including data mining and analysis for exploratory data analysis and visualization.
• Project Management : Manage work priorities and timelines set by the Senior Manager, AQP, and Flight Operations leadership.

Assist in developing analyses, processes, and reporting for actionable insights.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience in data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, and proficiency in SQL with complex queries is required.
• Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office 360, with strong knowledge of data analysis software and database management software.

Familiarity with air carrier training programs and associated FAA regulations is essential.

• Analytical Skills : Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Ability to conduct statistical analysis, data mining, and create detailed reports.
• Communication : Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex processes to internal and external stakeholders.

Special Requirements :

• Travel : Minimum 10% travel required.
• Flexibility : Must be flexible and able to work various hours and weekends to meet project deadlines.
