Job Brief :
This role requires working independently with minimal supervision, using initiative and good judgment in equipment design, weldment structures, enclosures and sheet metal modeling.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, it also involves collaboration with Sales and Marketing, Fabrication, Production and Quality Assurance.

Job Brief :

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, it also involves collaboration with Sales and Marketing, Fabrication, Production and Quality Assurance.
Key Skills : (Tool Expert in Solid Edge)
Use Solid Edge for 3D modeling of layouts, parts and assemblies with bill of materials and weldments with included parts list.
Create detailed drawings and diagrams. A minimum of five years experience with mechanical equipment and mechanisms is desired.
Candidate shall perform and attend design reviews, check drawings and maintain part records.
Key Responsibilities :
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5 + years of experience preferred.
- Extensive experience with Solid Edge.
- Knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
- Detail oriented and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with laser cutting and forming aluminum sheet metal parts with a break press.
- Work with Teamcenter in order to maintain part records and revision control throughout the product lifecycle..
- Maintain a good track record of success in a team environment.
