About this Role

We are looking for our first Product Marketing Hire to help tell Ashby’s story. As a product-led organization, we are exiting stealth mode with strong product market fit and are proud to already be supporting over 500 paying customers like Ramp, Figma, Opendoor, Airtable, Deel, Benchling, and Notion.

We are now looking to scale.

In this role, you will partner closely with the Head of Marketing to refine our ideal customer profile, define our go-to-market product and positioning, and then scale the infrastructure for ongoing product launches.

Responsibilities

Develop messaging and positioning - Create ideal customer profiles and determine how to position and message products and features in a compelling and emotionally resonant way by leveraging marketing and customer research, sales and support feedback, and product understanding.

Lead go-to-market planning cross-functionally - Proactively get involved early in product development and develop creative ideas, pricing and packaging, and the GTM strategies to take products and features to market, acquire customers, and drive and grow adoption, engagement, and loyalty over time.

Build campaigns that drive revenue - Imagine creative, omni-channel marketing campaigns in partnership with our Marketing team that generate awareness, revenue, and adoption, and rigorously measure the results to relentlessly optimize them.

Lead the cross-functional team to execute.

Research competitors and enable sales - Conduct ongoing research and lead competitive intelligence programs to provide a detailed understanding of key competitors’ strategies, offerings, GTM activities, and performance in order to inform product development and equip Sales to effectively highlight our differentiation.

You are deeply curious and are excited to learn about the recruiting and people space and our users - you develop a deep understanding of how product features can impact our customers.

You use systems and tools to make sure nothing gets dropped and you are very organized.

Assignment (product feature launch) and presentation (45 minutes)

Final Round Interview (90 minutes)
