Registered Nurse (RN)- GYN per diem
This per diem position is Mon-Fri (days will vary), 8 : 30a-5p, no weekends or holidaysAbout the Staff Nurse Role and Gynecology ClinicThe Gynecology Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital has over 25 providers and see approximately 2000 patients per month.
We are mainly a consultative practice that see patients with gynecology complications. Our specialty clinics include Vulvar Clinic, Colposcopy Clinic, Resident Clinic, Family Planning, Minimally Invasive Gynecological surgery and Urogynecology.
Our RNs work closely with MDs and APPs (NP).The staff nurse ensures proficient, conscientious nursing care. As a primary nurse is responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of patients.
The RN collaborates with the primary physician, members of the patient care team, support staff and nurse manager to achieve efficient patient outcomes.
- Identifies, facilitates, and evaluates outcomes of nursing care for an individual patient or group of patients.* Communicates the plan of care and other pertinent information to and from other health team members.
- Participates in and contributes to performance improvement activities for the unit.* Participates in teaching, education and directs all nursing personnel for whom she / he is responsible if applicable.

Skills and Experience for a Staff Nurse* 2 years of relevant nursing experience (med-surg, ambulatory, inpatient) required.
Experience in OB / GYN and / or ambulatory experience preferred.* Epic experience preferredEducation / Degree for a Staff Nurse* BSN required.
