About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2586 To $2873 Job Title : Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist Job Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration : 14 Weeks Shift : Day 10 5x8 Hr Guaranteed Hours : 40.
00 Hours per Week Experience : Two (2) years in Cardiology / Cath Lab preferred License : Registered ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) within 18 months of hire Certifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association - Fluoroscopy Certification - Radiation badges supplied by vendor Must-Have : - High School Diploma or equivalent Job Description : - Provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
- Deliver patient care under RN supervision. - Assist physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Act as a scrub assistant, maintaining sterile conditions. - Operate imaging equipment, monitor, and document procedure images and events in the control room.
- Educate patients and families about procedures and expectations. - Teach patients and families about pre and post-procedure physical conditions.
- Maintain order and cleanliness of the unit. - Ensure appropriate stock levels for interventions and diagnostic procedures.
- Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation according to departmental standards. - Accurately document productivity information.
- Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives. - Identify areas for improvement, including processes that can be streamlined for better patient satisfaction.
- Identify and address potential safety hazards for patients and staff. - Perform other duties as assigned.
