About The Position
Job Title : CT Technologist Job Specialty : Radiologic Technologist Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 0700-1530 Guaranteed Hours : 40 Experience : Minimum 3 years required License : Graduate of an approved AMA school of Radiology Certifications : Registered ARRT Must-Have : - Knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy- Ability to handle moderate to heavy physical effort- Proficiency in computer skills Job Description : Perform CT procedures, including invasive ones, under the direction of the Radiology Manager and Radiologist.
- Use a Toshiba Aquilon 64 slice scanner for operations.- Position and instruct patients accurately, operate specialized equipment, and determine technical factors for exposure.
- Ensure correct marking and labeling of all films.- Consistently provide safe, high-quality patient care.- Participate in on-call duties.
- Apply proper body mechanics for patient and equipment transport.- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and moving heavy equipment and patients safely.
- Exhibit good stamina, flexibility, manual dexterity, and motor skills to operate delicate equipment.- Demonstrate accurate judgment and decision-making abilities based on radiology knowledge.
- Deliver quality customer service and patient care according to standard radiology procedures. Additional Information : Housing options available for long-term assignments include furnished studio apartments.
Options for lodging include local inns and motels. Position urgency is normal, and holiday coverage is not required. Please note that bilingualism is not required for this position.
