The Cleveland Clinic is searching for a doctoral level faculty member to join its multidisciplinary on the Cleveland Clinic main campus.
This is a full-time position consisting of 70% designing / analyzing complex observational studies and clinical trials in collaboration with investigators from the Cleveland Clinic Orthopaedic Institute, Musculoskeletal Research Center and 30% independent research.
A doctoral degree with expertise in biostatistics and / or epidemiology is required. The position includes a non-tenured appointment to the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University at rank commensurate with experience.
Candidates should enjoy collaborating and bringing creative analytic approaches to complex problems in health care and have a strong desire to publish journal articles.
Excellent English written and oral communication skills are essential.
Job Requirements
PhD in Biostatistics, Epidemiology or a related discipline. Experience as a collaborative biostatistician in a clinical setting.
Ability and desire to lead a team of MS-level biostatisticians supporting musculoskeletal research. Knowledge of and experience with design and analytical methods for clinical trials is desired but not required.
Ability to centralize and organize ORI research and team. This is a hard money position with no explicit requirements to obtain salary support.
