ETRM Systems Specialist
Responsibilities
The ETRM ( Energy Trading and Risk Management) Systems Specialist is responsible for supporting EnLink's Gas Accounting and Settlement Systems (Currently W Energy, TIES and Right Angle). Duties include :
- Troubleshoot with the appropriate level of detail for the vendor team and end users to resolve functional issues and build solutions.
- Scope process improvements by documenting existing processes and recording user pain points and inefficiencies.
- Implement and manage projects to automate and ease daily workload of users.
- Support end-users in all departments with ad-hoc or formal training requests.
- Field questions from end-users and assist with data issues and errors.
- Assist in creative setup solutions for complex settlement needs.
- Maintain system functional design documents.
- Complete analysis and testing for system upgrades, patches and custom code releases.
- Execute system configuration and ad-hoc reports development.
- Available to support after hours on business-critical situations and scheduled tasks.
- Assist in end of month / quarterly processing.
- Interact and support application vendor team working on logged issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Information Technology, Information Systems or related area.
- 2-3 years of ETRM / ERP experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
- 2-3 years of experience Accounting and Settlement Management, W Energy strongly preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in application support.
- Experience with system upgrades and / or implementations.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills.
- A strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Familiarity with front to back-office system data flow in Gas Marketing, including but not limited to Measurement, Contract Management, Accounting, Commercial Relations, and Settlements.
- Ability to create complex pricing provisions and report views.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail.
- Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while still maintaining high quality standard.
