Job Description

Job Summary : The Administrative Appeals Specialist is an administrative role that supports the Appeals Director in the medical appeals process.

This position is 20 to 25 hours a week.

Requirements :

  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills : effectively manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, while paying close attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel, and keyboard proficiency required.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and a track record of excellent attendance is required.
