Our client is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure their ice cream products meet the highest standards of quality.
They provide a wide range of products, including inclusions, variegates, and flavor bases, catering to the dairy, bakery, and beverage industries.

Under the supervision of the Supervisor of Quality Control, the Technician checks and tests in-process and finished products, ensuring conformance to company quality standards and customer specifications.
Quality Control Technician Responsibilities :
- Conduct standardized tests on intermediate and finished food products.
- Ensure proper operation of metal detectors.
- Gather retention, microbiological, and control samples.
- Prepare microbiological sample composites for lab pickup.
- Examine and approve product labels.
- Place product on hold and assist with investigations.
Schedule : 1 : 00 PM - 9 : 00 PM
Monday through Friday (Overtime may be required)
Salary : $19.00 - $24.00 per hour (+ $3.00 per hour 2nd Shift Premium)
Quality Control Technician Requirements :
- 2 years of college and 1-2 years of experience preferred; or
- High school diploma and 3-5 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various variables.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
